Game Time

    I am making my demo. I am still on making thetitle scene, but I will go on to making my next scene in the next school day or so. I am still in the same direction that I was in when I started. The most exciting part of my game so far is when you go over the buttons, they change color, and also when you go over Rhet, he says something. The most difficult in my game I think is going to be is making the choices be able to move with the mouse.
    I usually need help if I want something to change color or move. I am planning on adding quite a bit of stuff on to my game. I am changing my mind on what i had on my paper prototype, because I did not have that much stuff on my prototype. It will be hader to make the game, because I am adding stuff to it, but I want the game to look better than what I had last year. It will look great.

Exploring other wiki pages

   I chose http://myglife.org/usa/wv/mmswiki/index.php/User:Alyssa_40 as my wiki choice. She is from Man Middle School. She and her teammate is making a game about civics. Civics is a good thing for kids to learn about. In the gmae you have to pick a juror to help you in a case. The game looks like it can teach kids a lot about civics. It looks really fun.
  When I looked on her projects page it looked good.The only thing I would say to add is the progress as they go through making the game. Her team page looks good, though. I cannot see anything that she would have to add to their team page. Her game and pages are going to be great when she finishes.

Planning Your Game

I am the only person in my team, so I got every role. I think that some of the roles are hard, but I did them last year so I know what they are. I look forward to making the game and showing my final game. I hope that it will not take as long as it did last year on every scene. I hope that my collaberative work with myself gets going and I don't have to get mad whenever something goes wrong.

Imagining Your Game

    I am making my game for kids between the ages of 6-9. They will learn what similes and rhetorical prhases are. My game happens on a planet called Simile and everybody who live on the planet uses similes in every sentence they speak which will help the players learn about similes and rhetorical phrases. Rhat is the character in the game which he will teach you how to use similes and rhetorical phrases. This is better than a quiz because every time you get something wrong you can just try, try again and it is much more fun because you don't have to know the phrases are. You just learn as you go along.

Snow Day

I would love to go out of town with my mom and dad. We would go to Roanoke and shop. My mom loves to go to Target and while she goes to Target, my dad and I go to Staples and or Best Buy. We would go to Valley View mall and Tanglewood mall. We would stay there for the whole day.
We would go to dad's sister's house. If my mom and I were by ourselves, we would go to her sisters home. If we went to Roanoke on a snow day before Christmas, wewould shop for my family. After we leave, we would go to Gander Mountain store. That is what I would like to do on a snow day.

Mini Game

Making the mini game was hard. You had all of the codes right at your hands, but not every time you put them in they worked. You also had to name them right or else they will not work. Other than that it looked fun. I can't wait to make another game this year.

Choosing a Topic

I am an 8 grade student that is in Globaloria. I bowl and I have chickens at my home.
